SINGARAM VASUKI RURAL WELFARE & EDUCATIONAL COMPLEX
Essvee Foundation, Chennai, has been supporting the education of college students—particularly those pursuing medical, engineering, and nursing courses—over the years. In a remarkable milestone for the Foundation, Mr. Singaram, a leading businessman and the Managing Trustee of Essvee Foundation, has contributed significantly towards rural development and healthcare by donating funds for the construction of the SINGARAM VASUKI RURAL WELFARE & EDUCATIONAL COMPLEX to SRI RAMANUJA CHARITABLE TRUST.
The Essvee Foundation has generously funded the construction of this new complex, which comprises a Ground Floor and First Floor.
- First Floor: SINGARAM VASUKI RURAL WELFARE & EDUCATIONAL COMPLEX
- Second Floor: Sri Ramanuja-1000 Computer Training Center On 2nd October 2023 at 9:30 AM, the SINGARAM VASUKI RURAL WELFARE & EDUCATIONAL COMPLEX was formally inaugurated by Mr. Venkatanathan (Trustee/Secretary: Shooting Stars Foundation; Retired Senior Vice President, SBI DFHI Ltd).
On the same occasion, the Sri Ramanuja-1000 Computer Training Center was inaugurated by Mrs. Latha Narayanan (CEO/President: Shooting Stars Foundation, USA).
Impact on the Village
The new Singaram Vasuki Rural Welfare & Educational Complex and Sri Ramanuja–1000 Computer Training Center bring major benefits to the village:
- Provides easy access to computer education and skill training.
- Empowers youth and women with digital skills and job opportunities.
- Reduces the need to travel to towns for training.
- Supports community programs like health camps and awareness sessions.
- Helps bridge the digital divide and promotes rural development.
- Creates long-term opportunities for education, employment, and economic growth.
Infrastructure Support & Impact (2025)
Sri Ramanuja Charitable Trust received a generous donation of 40 computer systems and a UPS from Chennai Willingdon Corporate Foundation, which significantly strengthened our Computer Education Centre.
Following the installation of the donated systems, the Trust has recorded substantial growth in student admissions and learning outcomes. From 1st June 2025 onwards, a total of 497 students have been enrolled in various computer courses.
The upgraded infrastructure has enabled:
- Uninterrupted computer classes with UPS support
- Increased batch capacity and improved student management
- Better quality digital learning through modern systems
- Enhanced practical exposure and employability skills for students from economically weaker sections
This support has transformed the centre into a more efficient, inclusive, and motivating learning environment, benefiting hundreds of underprivileged students and strengthening the Trust’s mission of providing quality computer education.

Our Trust was successfully transferred to its new premises at No. 10/32, S.S.V. Koil Street, Perambur, Chennai – 600 011 on 30-05-2025
