About SRI RAMANUJA CHARITABLE TRUST
Founded on 19th September 2005, SRI RAMANUJA CHARITABLE TRUST was established with a clear and compassionate vision: to eradicate illiteracy and ensure that financial constraints never stand in the way of acquiring knowledge or achieving success in life.
Our mission is to empower students with essential skills, knowledge, and confidence, enabling them to uplift themselves and contribute meaningfully to society. We believe that education is the most powerful tool to transform lives, and our initiatives are geared toward providing equal opportunities for learning and growth.
Founder and Chairman
- SRI RAMANUJA CHARITABLE TRUST is led by our esteemed Chairman, Mr. P. Satakopar Ramanuja Dasan (also known as Mr. Saravanan), whose life journey reflects dedication, humility, and a deep commitment to social service.
- He began his professional career as a photographer and entrepreneur, managing his own business under the name Vishnu Graphics.
- His work spanned various domains, including video coverage, printing, photography, and computer hardware services. With a passion for sharing knowledge, he later joined EVR Periyar Polytechnic College as a visiting faculty member, contributing to the academic development of students.
- A devotee and follower of Sri Ramanujar, he adopted the name Satakopar Ramanuja Dasan—a reflection of his spiritual values and his desire to live a life of service.
- Inspired by the teachings of Sri Ramanujar and driven by a deep compassion for the underprivileged, he founded SRI RAMANUJA CHARITABLE TRUST with the goal of uplifting those in need, particularly in the field of education.
- With his constant motivation and dedicated efforts, the Trust began its journey by offering free computer training and tuition classes for underprivileged students under the banner of: Excellentt Institute of Engineering & Technology This humble beginning laid the foundation for a growing movement focused on eradicating illiteracy, empowering youth with skills, and providing access to quality education regardless of financial background.
Future Plan
- Our aim is to give computer knowledge for all the poor people in Tamilnadu .
- Future plan discussion between students and chairman is to arrange for placements for the students in reputed companies.
- To build a matriculation school in which we are going to make the poor students to study without fees.
- To make our students to reach a good position in this society by which they can also serve others.
- We want to make all the students to reach a good path, who are diverged in their path.
- To conduct counseling classes in schools and institutions.
- To conduct awareness programmes to involve the young peoples to serve the society.
Future Plan
- Computer Literacy for All: Our goal is to provide computer knowledge to underprivileged people across Tamil Nadu .
- Student Placements: We plan to collaborate with reputed companies to arrange placement opportunities for our students, helping them secure bright careers.
- Free Education: A matriculation school will be established to ensure that poor students receive quality education without any fees.
- Building Responsible Citizens: We aim to guide our students towards achieving good positions in society so that they, in turn, can serve and uplift others.
- Guidance for Students: Special focus will be given to helping students who have lost direction in life by guiding them back onto the right path.
- Counseling & Mentorship: Regular counseling classes will be conducted in schools and institutions to support students’ mental, emotional, and career development.
- Social Awareness: Awareness programs will be organized to encourage young people to actively serve society and contribute to nation-building.
