SRI RAMANUJA CHARITABLE TRUST was started on 19th Sept 2005, with the vision to eradicate illiteracy and to impart knowledge to the people, where financial constraint is no more a barrier to achieve in their life and to get enrich with capability and ability to excel in their life. This mission is to improve the student's skills and equip them with all basic necessities in order to be confident and uplift themselves in the society. We have nearly 60 computers. Each computer is named in the names of AZHWARGAL..

Our trust is headed by our chairman Mr.P.SATAKOPAR RAMANUJA DASAN (a) SARAVANAN who started his career as a photographer, and managed his own business under the name VISHNU GRAPHICS. His nature of job is video coverage, printing, photography, hardware etc., Later he also joined as a visiting faculty in EVR PERIYAR POLYTECHNIC COLLEGE. He is one of the devotee and follower of SRI RAMANUJAR and was named as SATAKOPAR RAMANUJA DASAN.
With this background, he wanted to serve the society and uplift the poor people who are in real need of help. With his constant motivation and dedicated service, he initiated to start this trust. Initially, the trust started its service by conducting computer classes and took up tuitions for the poor students in the name of EXCELLENTT INSTITUTE OF ENGINEERING & TECHNOLOGY.

For this scheme We met directly the student belonging to Maduma Nagar school, since the locality is in very poor condition. So will gave them counseling regarding studies, our mission and about Mr.A.P.J.ABDUL KALAM's vision.
For the above scheme we are conducting computer classes from.
1st to 5th Std. for Rs.1/-
6th to 8th std for Rs.10/-
Additionally we are cover media classes with basic Maths, SpeedMaths and General Knowledge etc.,
In this scheme we are conducting classes for the 10th std failed students in the public exams from morning 9.00 a.m to 4.00 p.m.
For poor students in DRBCC Hr Sec School,Peramabur, we provide DMO classes at the cost of Rs.1/-
THIRUMANGAIYAZWAN PROJECT: Address:No.2/22/5, Pillai Thottam, Thilagar nagar, Ennore, Ch-57. SRI RAMANUJA CHARITABLE TRUST has started its another branch in ENNORE, and named it as THIRUMANGAIYAZWAR branch. In Ennore we find most of the students belonging to very poor conditions, whose father’s were working as fishermen, cooli etc,. So, those students were not able to bring forth their qualities in the field of computer, because in other institutes to study the basic class is so expensive. So, they were not able to go to the computer centers by paying lot of amount to them. And even there is no any computer institute in Ennore. So, we planned to start our branch in ENNORE for the upliftment of the students living there and also we succeed in it. Our Ennore branch inauguration was held on 10th May 2008.
PONNERI PROJECT : No. 37,T .H.Road, Ponneri, Thiruvallur – 601203 (Land Mark) – LNG COLLEGE. SRI RAMANUJA CHARITABLE TRUST has started its another branch in PONNERI, and named it as KANCHI PERIYAVAR branch. Ponneri is the main place which connects nearly 180 villages. There are many Corporation schools in and around Ponneri. Most of the poor students here, are not experienced of going to computer classes because of very expensive fees. The children of high class families only got chances for going to computer classes. There are many students here who had failed in their public examinations and some students who had discontinued their studies because of their poor background, we select those students and give them training with job opportunities .In order to facilitate computer education for poor students in PONNERI. which was inaugurated on 25 may 2010.
Our Trust helped 500 poor family who were affected by Flood .Relief area are Obasamuthiram,Ashramam,China Obalapuram,Kallur,Kavalamedu,Kosappur,Napalayam irular colony,Polighapettai,Reddy palayam,Subba reddy,Sunnambukulam,Thalayaripalayam,Uppu nelvai,Veliri colony and We arranged 20 kg rice bag, 1kg salt ,biscuit packet, mat , for 500 family and also We had given Notebook to 2500 students who were studied in ELAVUR HR SEC SCHOOL, SUNNAMBUKULAM HR SEC SCHOOL ,OBASAMUTHIRAM HIGH SCHOOL, OBASAMUTHIRAM MIDDLE SCHOOL, SUNNAMBUKULAM MIDDLE SCHOOL. We had given 200 School bags to OBASAMUTHIRAM PRIMARY AND HIGH SCHOOL.
SRI UDAIYAVAR KOTTAI PROJECT: Address:Udaiyavar Kottai, Senga Chollaimedu, Elavur Village, Kummidipundi Taluk, Thiruvallur – 601203 The 1000th birth anniversary of the great acharya Sri Ramanuja was celebrated by all the sri vaishnavites in the year 2017. So, Sri Ramanuja Charitable Trust planned its project at Gummidipoondi to build Sri Bhagavat Ramanujar temple, Udaiyavar Kottai. ,SRI RAMANUJA CHARITABLE TRUST has started its another branch in Elavur Village, and named it as UDAIYAVAR KOTTAI branch.The Goal of Sri Ramanuja Charitable Trust is to give Computer Education to all poor students from surrounding villages. In and around Elavur Village we found most of the families were downtrodden with social backwardness mostly from Irular community. Unluckily they are not having any computer institute nearby,if so they are not able to bear the expenses. so the students were not able to come up with computer literacy . For the above reasons we opened a branch in Elavur for the upliftment of students living there .
Now we got succeeded in the process by joining more students day by day,by the blessings of SRI RAMANUJAR

SRI RAMANUJA CHARITABLE TRUST has started its another branch in PERIYAKARUMBUR, and named it as KURATHAZWAN branch.
Periyakarumbur is the main place connecting nearly 38 Villages. Even there is no bus facility in the surrounding 38 villages. So, we planned to start our another branch here for the upliftment of the students from these villages. In this branch the computer classes are being held in the inside of the EASWARAR TEMPLE. This branch inauguration was held on 30th June 2008.
1. In the inauguration function we gave notebooks to nearly 70 students from 9th & 10th STD students from the Govt School.
2. We had given RAMANUJA-1000 EXCELLENT AWARD, Certificate, and medal, dictionary, geometry box, and notes for 3 students in 10th STD who scored above 80% in the public examination held in 2008.
3. We also gave 50% scholarship for 15 students in that village to undergo DMO course in our computer center.
Sri Ramanuja Charitable Trust had started a College for the students those who had failed and for those who were not able to continue their further classes of 9th, 10th,11th,12th standards and also for those who had discontinued their studies because of their family situations. For these students we are giving special courses which makes them to get good jobs in future. The timing of the school is from 9.00 a.m to 1.00 p.m with and the duration is one year.
